who doesn’t love a good set of lingerie? ’cause i sure do!

some of my favorite brands have released some insanely sexy lingerie sets lately and, i mean, any excuse to do a photo shoot in my panties! 😛

first up, blueberry && foxes. both of these sets can be found @ the epiphany and playing for pieces is *so* worth it. blueberry’s set is so intricate and beautiful, and makes me feel very victoria’s secret angel with these glorious bento back wings! and it’s no secret that i love straps and buckles and harnesses, and this set from foxes in this gorgeous dark blue.. just unf.

also @ the epiphany are both of these candydoll sets. the jane set (on the left) && the mary set (on the right) are full of mix ‘n’ match pieces that are *so* sexy! ruffled panties, cute rare socks, cut outs and straps and lots of color options~

plus, i’m wearing the collabor88 skin release from glam affair called ravenna that has awesome makeup choices && such a cute face.. as well as three of truth‘s newest hairs (including *two* group gifts!), a cute wasabi pills ‘do @ chapter four && white widow‘s latest tattoo for shiny shabby that is just as beautiful and detailed as they always are!

festive af

every year, my girls && i get together irl for christmas.. we exchange gifts, catch up, have dinner and drinks. but the best part, to me, is when we have our baking extravaganza and make all kinds of holiday sweets!

this year, it’s cookies and chocolate pretzels.. both of which have very low thresholds on difficulty. in years past, we’ve made some things that have definitely ended up nailed it (not our train, but it totally could’ve been!), but this year i’m confident that we can make things cute and pretty and exactly the way we want it~

our spread may not look precisely as nice as this glam affair set of holiday foods does, but! it won’t be for lack of effort! it’s going to be so much fun && i cannot wait to see my besties tonight. seeing them puts me in such a christmas mood that i can’t help but feel holly and merry and festive af!

there are just certain brands out there on the grid that i get unbelievably excited about. when there are new releases, i literally feel like a li’l kid on christmas.. giddy and happy and wanting nothing more than to show off my new shinies.

haus of darcy is one such brand.. and it’s not only a brand that i’ve been a fan of for so long, i can’t quite remember a time in which i *wasn’t* wearing it.. but i’m also so fond of the creator that it just makes me that much more thrilled when there’s new things to show off!

pumpkin spice & everything nice

who is ready for a little pumpkin spice, worn three different ways? /me raises hand

to be honest, orange isn’t a color i wear too often. but i thought it might be a fun challenge for myself to style up shades of orange that didn’t look particularly halloween… but rather, just simply fall-appropriate.

so let’s see how i did 😀

first, i went a little casual. you can never go wrong with something as classic as a button down shirt with a pair of nice fitting jeans! i used blueberry‘s new top (out @ collabor88) with a pair of candydoll jeans (that are found @ uber), and added accents of dark purple with the buttons on the shirt && these new reign heels. i think deep purple and bright orange look so good together, and with the way these pieces fit.. it’s sexy while still comfortable.

next, i wanted to try wearing orange with black without looking like a halloween decoration! i think i pulled it off 😉 the adorable dress i’m wearing is one of tee*fy‘s c88 releases, and when paired with this sweater by the secret store and the heels && stockings from reign (both also @ c88), the colors not only look great but the style as a whole seems to fit together nicely.

and lastly, i wanted to show how great orange pairs with shades of brown and cream. this look is definitely the most pumpkin spice imo, and i think it all works. i’m wearing the other half of blueberry‘s c88 releases with this skirt ‘n’ belt combo, a pixicat cropped turtleneck on top, and a pair of boots by empire (@ chapter four) that were just way too good to pass up. bare legs can look a bit odd in colder months, but wearing tights or tall boots like these are perfect for making even the teeniest skirts still look appropriate for fall!

i’ve also got on new truth (top two pics) && little bones (bottom pic, at c88) hair styles, new glam affair skin + lip appliers (also @ c88), with some accessories from maxi gossamer, what next, yummy && foxes.

the colors are the pumpkin spice.. and the rest is everything nice. i really enjoy giving myself challenges like this, because i even surprise myself with the way i end up doing things. orange is a fantastic color for fall and is more versatile to work with than you might think!

hair fair!

hair fair is easily one of my *favorite* events of the year. not only does it benefit a wonderful cause, but it’s also haaaiiirrr.. and judging from my overflowing inventory folders of hair, i kinda like buying it.

this is just a small (very!! small) smattering of hair fair picks of mine. there are so many brands, styles, colors, accessories && freebies there to pick from that i had a hard time narrowing it down to just four, but i guarantee these will not be the only hair fair styles i am gonna rock this summer!

anyway 😀 onto the hair!

first up, we have exile. this long, layered style is so, so cute! i love the way it frames the face and sweeps back over the shoulders, and exile has the most fab selection of dip-dye color choices. i never know which unnatural hair color pack to grab because they’re all so nice~

next, little bones! nova really outdid herself for hair fair, and i looooveee her styles this year! this one, called pose, immediately made me think of windswept beachy hair, and it looks perfect with a swimsuit.

now, onto lelutka. *all* of their hairstyles were a definite yes for me, but this one in particular was my favorite. the beanie is delicate and dotted with tiny li’l flowers, and i thought it worked so well with a kind of boho-themed look. plus i am loving their new color packs! no more do i have to decide whether i’d like pastel unnatural hair or vibrant unnatural hair, they’re both in one!

lastly, we have another little bones style.. except this time, it’s sleek, straight, smooth and tucked behind the ear. this one could so easily go with a more formal look too, maybe with an elegant gown or high-waist slacks and killer heels, but i dressed it down with some shorts ‘n’ a tank top.. and i think it works both ways!
