hair fair!

hair fair is easily one of my *favorite* events of the year. not only does it benefit a wonderful cause, but it’s also haaaiiirrr.. and judging from my overflowing inventory folders of hair, i kinda like buying it.

this is just a small (very!! small) smattering of hair fair picks of mine. there are so many brands, styles, colors, accessories && freebies there to pick from that i had a hard time narrowing it down to just four, but i guarantee these will not be the only hair fair styles i am gonna rock this summer!

anyway 😀 onto the hair!

first up, we have exile. this long, layered style is so, so cute! i love the way it frames the face and sweeps back over the shoulders, and exile has the most fab selection of dip-dye color choices. i never know which unnatural hair color pack to grab because they’re all so nice~

next, little bones! nova really outdid herself for hair fair, and i looooveee her styles this year! this one, called pose, immediately made me think of windswept beachy hair, and it looks perfect with a swimsuit.

now, onto lelutka. *all* of their hairstyles were a definite yes for me, but this one in particular was my favorite. the beanie is delicate and dotted with tiny li’l flowers, and i thought it worked so well with a kind of boho-themed look. plus i am loving their new color packs! no more do i have to decide whether i’d like pastel unnatural hair or vibrant unnatural hair, they’re both in one!

lastly, we have another little bones style.. except this time, it’s sleek, straight, smooth and tucked behind the ear. this one could so easily go with a more formal look too, maybe with an elegant gown or high-waist slacks and killer heels, but i dressed it down with some shorts ‘n’ a tank top.. and i think it works both ways!

if you haven’t been to hair fair yet, then gogogogogo! it runs til the end of the month and has always been one of the highlights of my sl summers!

yay, rompers!

i dunno about ya’ll, but i love me a good romper. they’re easy to wear, adorable, and look lovely whether you’re just hangin’ out with friends or on a sweet summer date. they’re both versatile and sexy, and some of my favorite designers have made some super cute rompers so far!

the only trouble is.. picking just one. so i picked three to show off instead! 😛

first up.. candydoll in a bright cherry hue! this jumper (found @ fameshed) is *so* sexy, with it’s low neckline and short shorts. there’s a li’l hoodie on the back too, but i opted to wear it with a hat ‘n’ hair combo from truth that’s out @ uber, along with some killer reign heels && a zenith bag, both of which are on offer @ c88!

next.. an infinitely color-change romper, from mutresse that’s such a good deal at collabor88. for just *188L* you get this super cute li’l jumper, and just like all of mutresse’s items.. you can customize it until you can customize no more! i decided to go with pink and white (to match my beebu bag from the arcade,and the pair of essenz shoes i snagged @ tropical summer fair), but there’s a whole host of colors included, from neutral to vivid!

and lastly, we have hucci.. which is another fab deal at c88. this jumper, in the loveliest shade of vibrant blue, was only 88L and i can never pass up a steep discount like that! this color is just perfect for summer, and i accessorized it with maxi gossamer‘s latest c88 necklace, a teal colored garbaggio bag, and a pair of empire knee-high sandals in a nice neutral taupe.. so the star of my outfit, the cute romper, shines brightest!

another one of my favorite sets from this month’s the arcade is by mon cheri. bikinis && accessories, with metallic accents.. it’s all just delicious.

i happened to luck out and win one of the rare bikini tops in scarlet, and this swimsuit is so sexy it *hurts*. it fits my hourglass like a glove, and it’s so shiny and so gold and so bright.. i just love it! and when wearing it with this slicked back little bones hair (that’s out @ c88), i look like i just took a dip in the crystal clear ocean around me. ahh~~

caffeine & catch up..

I had a few days hiatus for a little family vacation & came back to some goodies!  SO a few things to mention..

FIRST Haus of Darcy has 3 piercings currently available for only 50L each at Tengoku no Rakuen!  I’m running a little behind, it’s only open for a few more days, so make sure you stop by before the 30th of this month to get em..

Secondly, Uberrrrr!!  Glam Affair has this beautiful skin available called Caroline, along with an assortment of brows, eye makeup & lipstick!  I also fell in a little bit of love with this jacket from Addams paired with these adorable little moccasins from Reign.  Aaand per usual Truth never ceases to please me..

Lastly, I’d like to throw out there that Speakeasy has some pretty neat gachas @ the Freakshow Gacha.  I’m currently wearing a little sample from the Tattoo/Wound gacha called Temple.  It is the ultra rare, but I promise you that it is worth the try!! <3_<3
