hi! been a little bit, huh? what can i say.. stuff comes up, motivation goes down, life.. finds a way of getting *in* the way.

so i’m trying to play a li’l bit of catch up here today, showing off some things that i should have shown off already.. and the theme is rompers!

and we’re starting off with tee*fy! i love just about everything this brand makes, and azure does the combo of sexy ‘n’ cute so, so well. the plunging neckline and short shorts are perfect for warmer days, while the sweet floral print && belted waist give it juuuuust enough cute!

next up is paper arrow. i snagged this at the last round of the epiphany && i lucked out in getting this soft pink option. the satin texture for the fabric and the tie at the waist could make this romper something dressy *or* something super casual.

lastly, we have reign from the last round of collabor88. the pattern options in the fatpack for this romper were *so* perfect for a summertime kinda feel. bright hot pink + navy blue is my absolute favorite color combo and this romper with this tropical floral combined them perfectly~

my apologies, sincerely, for being so absent lately.. but i’m honestly thankful the grid keeps on chuggin’ even when i’m not there. i get to come back to so many lovely new releases && events to check out, and have a backlog of beautiful things to show off!

This year we decided to do a little “who wore it better” Easter edition!  I gave the girls each this adorable little Easter egg basket from Reve Obscura and told them to take me a pretty picture.

spring blooms

to me, nothing says spring quite like beautiful, bright flower blooms.. the greenery, the sweet smell, the vibrant petals.. it all makes me excited for warmer weather and sunny skies and some much-needed color outside my windows!

so i enlisted the help of my good judy, vivienne, to show off some pastel, flowery separates that also just scream spring!

it’s been a good minute since i took pics somewhere *other* than my sky platform. i think it’s just become wayyyy too easy to set up a scene in the sky, or use a backdrop prop (of which i now have a bajillion) that’s already done for me, and use that instead of gettin’ out there && exploring the grid.

so you know what i say to that? NOT TODAY!

me ‘n’ my three kittens actually teleported somewhere that wasn’t an event or sale and did some good, old fashioned sim hopping. i loved the scenery on this sim, with the pretty red rocks and river and greenery. it may not match my shiny-urban-camo look exactly, but that’s okay.. that’s just part of using someone else’s sim for picture taking. and honestly, it felt really nice to see something that wasn’t put together by my own derp decorating skills.. for that alone, it was totally worth it~

springtime colors

i dunno about you, but for me.. spring is definitely in the air. it may only be the end of february, but it’s been warm ‘n’ sunny outside my rl windows this week and i am *totally* feeling the change of seasons already!

so, naturally.. i decided to put together a few looks to show off today that are all spring inspired!

in this first look, i’m rockin’ some blueberry separates. i love being able to mix && match pieces in my wardrobe throughout the seasons, and i’ve worn these cake leggings several times now in posts. not only do they come in a thousand and one colors, but they’re just *so good* for more casual outfits. and when paired with this super cute cropped hoodie from luxe box this month, it’s comfy while still cute.. especially with these candydoll platforms!

secondly is something quintessential spring to me.. pastels! this tee*fy skirt that’s out @ n21 in this watercolor print just *screams* spring to me. and while i was playing around with this candydoll top, also @ n21, i realized that i could make it match the skirt exactly. it looks like they were made for each other, like they’re a full dress! some strappy reign sandals complete the look in full spring pastel splendor~

another thing that always makes me think spring is floral prints! candydoll always does such nice ones and i fell in love with the color combo on this skirt. beige, cream, light blue and a brighter hot pink.. it’s just lovely. so i paired it with another candydoll top, this time from rewind, in a matching blue ‘n’ white.. and grabbed for another pair of strappy reign sandals from n21, with a thick glass heel that adds just an extra layer of sexy!

cozy in purple

hi hello! december has been kinda busy for me (as it is for everyone, i’m sure) but i’ve broken the drought of posts from me to bring you three looks..

..aaaaand a new face 😀

in case you haven’t seen, lelutka released a *bento* mesh head.. which means this head in particular is like fitmesh for the face! i’ve bounced around between mesh heads in the last year or so trying to find one that suits what i want, but lelutka’s leda head ended up being my absolute favorite. i’ve worn her for so long now that she’s become my new me face.. but i had to try the new simone bento head and i LOVE HER.

it reminds me so much of tweaking my classic avatar face, getting it just right. this of course isn’t the final shape, i am not sure it’ll *ever* be the ‘final’ shape, but i loooveeeeee ittttt. it looks enough like my leda face that it still feels like me, but still different and better and with new animations and skins (like this one from glam affair that is too cute for words) and i just.. i am completely enamored with it ♥♥

and now onto the looks!

dress me up

i really enjoy doing look book type posts. at least, that’s what i’m calling them! several looks at once, with a vague sort of theme to them. not only is it fun to style myself up three different ways, but it also shows off more of the awesome stuff that’s out there.. *and* i get to blabber on about what i’m wearing even more than i usually do! it’s win-win-win~

so! three dresses, all in teal and pink. and begin!

this look, to me, is definitely my pretty in punk aesthetic. i absolutely love pairing soft, girly floral patterns like in this tres blah dress, with the more structured look of a leather jacket (from amitomo) and strapped, chunky-heeled boots (by phedora). i added in some cutesy elements of my favorite things with this cat-ear headband + hair combo from truth && a sailor moon inspired bag by cosmic dust, and i think it all works for a funky, more casual look.

this second look is definitely much more on the sexier side of things. a cute skin-tight dress in teal worn with a cropped denim jacket on top (both by blueberry) paired with some super hot knee-high reign boots is almost effortlessly sexy. it all looks so good together no matter what color combo you go with (of which there are a ton, as is usual for blueberry’s things!) and you could totally wear tights or stockings to have an even more layered look. i added in touches of hot pink with a zenith clutch (which would make this look perfect for a date night!) and a big statement maxi gossamer pendant.. and a not-so-typical lip color from glam affair to try and add in a bit of a darker feel to it.

in this last look, i went full on flirty feminine. it all started with this adorable tee*fy dress, in this lovely colorful leafy pattern, and i added a studded addams bolero on top just for some extra coverage.. autumn winds get chilly, y’know! these knee-high phedora sandals came in a color that matched *perfectly*, and the jewelry from the sugar garden and katat0nik add in some extra color and some extra edge that’s just how i roll.

i really love all three of these looks. they’re all definitely *me* with a spin on each!
