yay, rompers!

i dunno about ya’ll, but i love me a good romper. they’re easy to wear, adorable, and look lovely whether you’re just hangin’ out with friends or on a sweet summer date. they’re both versatile and sexy, and some of my favorite designers have made some super cute rompers so far!

the only trouble is.. picking just one. so i picked three to show off instead! 😛

first up.. candydoll in a bright cherry hue! this jumper (found @ fameshed) is *so* sexy, with it’s low neckline and short shorts. there’s a li’l hoodie on the back too, but i opted to wear it with a hat ‘n’ hair combo from truth that’s out @ uber, along with some killer reign heels && a zenith bag, both of which are on offer @ c88!

next.. an infinitely color-change romper, from mutresse that’s such a good deal at collabor88. for just *188L* you get this super cute li’l jumper, and just like all of mutresse’s items.. you can customize it until you can customize no more! i decided to go with pink and white (to match my beebu bag from the arcade,and the pair of essenz shoes i snagged @ tropical summer fair), but there’s a whole host of colors included, from neutral to vivid!

and lastly, we have hucci.. which is another fab deal at c88. this jumper, in the loveliest shade of vibrant blue, was only 88L and i can never pass up a steep discount like that! this color is just perfect for summer, and i accessorized it with maxi gossamer‘s latest c88 necklace, a teal colored garbaggio bag, and a pair of empire knee-high sandals in a nice neutral taupe.. so the star of my outfit, the cute romper, shines brightest!

it seems i’m not the only one on the grid that’s excited for suicide squad! blueberry, grixdale && little bones all made harley quinn homage gachas at the current round of the epiphany.. and my girl synful ghost of curvosity made baseball bat poses a little while back for her, too. the top i’m wearing can be worn with or without the jacket over top (and comes with a nifty hud that hides or shows the shirt sleeves, to fit underneath the jacket!), and the panties can be worn with or without the belt.. and, of course, the hair comes in all of nova’s usual colors plus the two-tone blonde pack i’m wearing here, made specifically for harley.

combine that with the hubs humoring my requests && just the right backdrop.. and you’ve got, imho, a pretty fitting cosplay~

i dunno if you’ve noticed, but.. i haven’t really worn pants in a while. :S

if we’re being *really* technical, i’ve not worn pants since last year(!!). it’s been mostly shorts, skirts && panties (or, y’know, no bottoms at all.. /me adjusts her halo).. so, today..

these specific pants are by hucci && were out during a past round of uber.. and i gotta say, i *love* the fit on these! i know it’s hard to tell given my choice in top, but they fit soooooo nicely. they give great ass! 😀

and, since i mentioned my top.. it, too, is an older event release from candydoll and i think it’s perfect for this time of year where it’s not quite spring yet (despite what my girl pumms tries to tell you!!) but it’s getting brighter and more sunny. so a warm but-not-too-warm sweatshirt dress, that i decided to wear as a long top, is perfect for warmer days ‘n’ cooler evenings!

plus, as an aside, i’ve been *dying* for an excuse to wear this lavender david heather whale purse (that was a gift from my girl vivienne for my birthday last month!) and.. on top of it.. how cute is this new truth hair? i gotta say, i love a good pigtail hairstyle and this one is so wavy and sweet. and, since i like to (over) accessorize.. this hairstyle was super easy to work with a headband, like this antlers-and-roses one that i snagged from mango cheeks a few weeks ago for flf!

curves

my girl synful ghost made some awesome new poses for an event called supa8. and while the theme of her poses was for club kids (if you aren’t familiar, then lemme give you a history lesson on one of the best), i thought they worked to show off some *curves*… especially considering her brand is called curvosity.

said curves are courtesy of the new slink hourglass mesh body.. which i only recently picked up. i did a *lot* of editing to my shape to try && get my look in the hourglass similar to my “normal” shape in maitreya‘s lara and i think i did just that, while still keeping the extra curves in tact.

and i gotta say, i freakin’ love this body. it’s like regular ole vixxie with some extra t&a tacked on, and i’ve never felt sexier in sl!

i am *really* loving all the goodies at this round of uber. every time i think i’ve grabbed all the stuffs i want, i see a pic on flickr or browse someone’s blog and am reminded that.. oh yeaaaaahhhh, that’s something else i wanted!

these sweatpants by miss chelsea are just that item. i eyeballed them on my first go ’round at uber, but didn’t pick them up until i saw the gorgeous xaqueline seda rockin’ them on her flickr && i realized i’d forgotten to snag them. these pants fit the maitreya lara body like a *glove* and i adore the way they look with heels (like the ones i’m wearing here, also another item i picked up @ uber because of xaqueline, from hucci).. ’cause who says sweatpants can’t be fancy?
