summer sunset

there’s nothing quite like sunset at the beach. watching the sun dip down below the horizon, making both the sky and water turn shades of peach and pink and lavender.. it’s beautiful and makes for the perfect backdrop~

today i’m wearing some candydoll goodies.. this adorable li’l lace-trimmed romper && my matching shoes were just way too cute not to wear together. and with a kitty face shoulder bag from zenith (in a gacha currently @ kustom9), an *entire* carton of ice cream (which is the only proper way to eat ice cream, imo!) from bueno @ the arcade, the cutest pair of *freebie* pigtails from truth in colors i adore, a gloriously shiny white widow tattoo in silver, and to top it all off, some new pink fuel appliers for my lelutka head.. i gotta say, i feel just as pretty as the swirled pastel sky behind me!

it seems i’m not the only one on the grid that’s excited for suicide squad! blueberry, grixdale && little bones all made harley quinn homage gachas at the current round of the epiphany.. and my girl synful ghost of curvosity made baseball bat poses a little while back for her, too. the top i’m wearing can be worn with or without the jacket over top (and comes with a nifty hud that hides or shows the shirt sleeves, to fit underneath the jacket!), and the panties can be worn with or without the belt.. and, of course, the hair comes in all of nova’s usual colors plus the two-tone blonde pack i’m wearing here, made specifically for harley.

combine that with the hubs humoring my requests && just the right backdrop.. and you’ve got, imho, a pretty fitting cosplay~

there’s a new round of tengoku no rakuen open that features a discounted haus of darcy piercing set called emanuel..

..and not only does it make me *so excited* to have new-to-me hod piercings to play with, but it also gives me an excuse to rope the hubs into a picture with me since he’s a big ole fanboy of aydan darcy’s (just like me!).

all of it together, plus the fact that yesterday.. feb 23rd.. is rather significant for me, means this makes for a very happy birthday for vixxie indeed~

i do a lot of shopping in world. …and okay, i know you’re probably thinking ‘no shit vix, we know already???’, but!! i *do* a lot of shopping in world, however i also browse through my flickr contacts like it’s a catalog too. and it was this way that i spotted a new release from one of my fave brands.. which, of course, meant i ran so fast to go grab it.

this stirling jumper from vinyl is super cute, right! i love the added belts, ruffles && li’l cropped hoodie.. all of which are color change, and all of which are optional. you really can mix ‘n’ match and it totally inspired my look today.

so i wore it with some zenith arm warmers, a pair of thigh-high socks from fri.day, a *new* pair of fantabulous boots from sweet thing (that are out @ the kawaii project) and a hair… a hair(!!) from hairology by besom that is full of curls and volume that i about *died* when trying it on, especially in these unnatural ombre colors.

browsing through mainstores, events.. even the marketplace is fun too, don’t get me wrong. but i spend so much time stalking– *ahem*, i mean following my favorite stores on flickr that i tend to see things there first before i ever set my virtual foot in world. and if i didn’t, i might’ve missed the jumper i’m wearing today.. it would’ve been a travesty, i tell ya!

for a walk

the other day, i happened upon a super cute husky while i was out doing my usual stand-and-pose for blog pics. and damned if he didn’t inspire me to adopt my own big floofy puppy..

her name is anouk! she and i are out for our daily walkies and since she’s covered in all that super soft fur, the snow didn’t bother her one single bit.
