anyway 😀

i won these *rare* half deer kitty cat headphones from manga fair and that was basis of my entire look today! i wanted to use them so badly in something because.. lookit them.. they’re freakin’ adorable.

soooo i wore them with a hair that fit underneath them pretty perfectly, from little bones (that’s out @ c88 && comes with a set of golden laurels too!) in a pretty pastel ‘n’ blonde combo, along with blueberry‘s summery cropped top from this month’s luxe box, a pair of *super* cute cut-off shorts from maitreya (on offer @ mesh body addicts) and yet another gacha rare, this time from gacha garden, with these bunny-ear heels from phedora (that come in a *crazy* amount of colors in the rare!).

i’ve also gotta give a special shout out to my girl bibi, who helped me out with this tentacio shopping bag that’s full of musical goodness. it was the last li’l detail i needed to complete my groove-inspired look && she helped a girl out! thank youuuu ♥♥

hair fair!

hair fair is easily one of my *favorite* events of the year. not only does it benefit a wonderful cause, but it’s also haaaiiirrr.. and judging from my overflowing inventory folders of hair, i kinda like buying it.

this is just a small (very!! small) smattering of hair fair picks of mine. there are so many brands, styles, colors, accessories && freebies there to pick from that i had a hard time narrowing it down to just four, but i guarantee these will not be the only hair fair styles i am gonna rock this summer!

anyway 😀 onto the hair!

first up, we have exile. this long, layered style is so, so cute! i love the way it frames the face and sweeps back over the shoulders, and exile has the most fab selection of dip-dye color choices. i never know which unnatural hair color pack to grab because they’re all so nice~

next, little bones! nova really outdid herself for hair fair, and i looooveee her styles this year! this one, called pose, immediately made me think of windswept beachy hair, and it looks perfect with a swimsuit.

now, onto lelutka. *all* of their hairstyles were a definite yes for me, but this one in particular was my favorite. the beanie is delicate and dotted with tiny li’l flowers, and i thought it worked so well with a kind of boho-themed look. plus i am loving their new color packs! no more do i have to decide whether i’d like pastel unnatural hair or vibrant unnatural hair, they’re both in one!

lastly, we have another little bones style.. except this time, it’s sleek, straight, smooth and tucked behind the ear. this one could so easily go with a more formal look too, maybe with an elegant gown or high-waist slacks and killer heels, but i dressed it down with some shorts ‘n’ a tank top.. and i think it works both ways!

over the years, i think i’ve made it pretty clear that i love me some sailor moon. it’s so nostalgic for me.. i grew up watching it every single day after school (toonami ftw!). i love the story, i love the characters, i love the art.. and it is still, to this day, one of my favorite television series ever.

of course i love the main character, but.. i’ve always identified more with other scouts. mainly jupiter (because she was tall && brunette like me irl) and mercury (i thought she was awesome because she was so smart!) and welp..

sometimes, i just can’t resist the urge to indulge in a li’l cosplay. :3

the crystal heart festival is an event that i about *had a fit* over. so many cute things, all in one place, catering to my inner anime nerd.. it’s like i died and went to sailor moon heaven. i squealed (literally) over these atomic sweatshirts, and vivi had some luck in the cosmic dust purse gacha and won me the mercury bag… and thus, i was pretty much obligated to become one with ami mizuno.

if you’ve haven’t been to crystal heart and you’re as big of a sailor moon fan as i am, then gooooooooo. you won’t regret it! your inventory will be bursting with sailor scout goodness and it’s more awesome than i can even put into words!

which is why i was out this afternoon (after spending some time with pumms!), doing yoga in one of blueberry‘s latest releases. the dana set, to me, looked *perfect* for a workin’ out kinda day.. and since my good girlfriend vivi hooked me up with this rare zenith yoga bag, i had no excuse to not work off all those calories from my july 4th cookout..

summer sunset

there’s nothing quite like sunset at the beach. watching the sun dip down below the horizon, making both the sky and water turn shades of peach and pink and lavender.. it’s beautiful and makes for the perfect backdrop~

today i’m wearing some candydoll goodies.. this adorable li’l lace-trimmed romper && my matching shoes were just way too cute not to wear together. and with a kitty face shoulder bag from zenith (in a gacha currently @ kustom9), an *entire* carton of ice cream (which is the only proper way to eat ice cream, imo!) from bueno @ the arcade, the cutest pair of *freebie* pigtails from truth in colors i adore, a gloriously shiny white widow tattoo in silver, and to top it all off, some new pink fuel appliers for my lelutka head.. i gotta say, i feel just as pretty as the swirled pastel sky behind me!
