i finally was able to go visit c88 properly and browse around.. and since this month marks the event’s anniversary, there’s *even more* designers and items there to tempt me.

i came back with a pretty sizable haul o’ goodies, buuutttttt~ i have to say, my top pick out of the things i snagged was probably one of tres blah‘s items…

this skirt is life. one of my favorite tb releases *ever* was the sequin pencil skirt from last year. so much so that i blogged it twice(!). you can imagine my utter glee when i saw this floor-length version, packed with even more sparkle ‘n’ shine, and i knew it had be be mine.

and i know my pics don’t even begin to do it justice, but just look at how this skirt shines with materials..

for a walk

the other day, i happened upon a super cute husky while i was out doing my usual stand-and-pose for blog pics. and damned if he didn’t inspire me to adopt my own big floofy puppy..

her name is anouk! she and i are out for our daily walkies and since she’s covered in all that super soft fur, the snow didn’t bother her one single bit.

isn’t she pretty? and so good on a leash, too! i mean, i totally didn’t get dragged down the road when a squirrel ran past, immediately after taking these pictures or anything…

bundled

tee*fy made some gloriously huge scarves for collabor88, and i fell in love with the pattern called geometric.. because of the color combo of green, teal, black && white.

the pattern itself is like a whole buncha other patterns mashed together, and with how *bundled up* i look.. i think it works for fall, even if it’s not a typical fall palette!

i’m wearing it here with ison‘s new mainstore release jeans && event release socks ‘n’ boots (that are available @ c88 too), a long button down from tres blah that i grabbed @ uber, and a set of *discounted!* piercings @ tengoku no rakuen from haus of darcy.

and of course, the newest updated logo alex head! there’s been a lot of updates, including new head alphas(!), combined expression HUDs and makeup layers. i haven’t played around much with new makeup appliers because i’m wearing the latest glam affair appliers called melanie for the logo head, that you can find at shiny shabby. i thought this makeup was too pretty to cover over, but you best believe i’ll be experimenting with new makeup appliers asap, like these, from izzie’s!

some days, i am very particular about colors.. i want them to match and be perfect, with a very clear color scheme goin’ on.

and then there are other days, like today, where i just start throwing stuff together and hope it works, no matter the colors!

thankfully… at least, imho.. it works sometimes!

i built this outfit around this *adorable* new sweater i snagged from vincue, in a color called cherry but looks very coral to me. not only did i love this color, but all the li’l details are just so cute.. the ruffly collar, the bow accent, the extra long sleeves.. and the back has a nice lacey piece across the shoulders that i derp’d and forgot to photograph. but super cute all the same!

then it was off to blueberry for something to wear with my top.. and these new harlow skirts are *so* sexy! nice and short, with a high thigh slit, and an optional studded belt that made these skirts really stand out~

after that, it was accessory time.. a necklace from maxi gossamer, an infinitely color-change mutresse purse from collabor88, some thigh high sn@tch socks, with a pair of reign ankle booties && a cute side-swept hair from little bones.

who knew coral, turquoise, maroon, tan and chocolate brown worked so well together? 😀

red for a change

i mostly leave all the red head stuff to my girls.. pumms, who works the ginge with a vengeance, and vivienne who sports a red wig from time to time. it’s not that i don’t personally like red hair, i do, it’s just not something i really wear..

..well, until today.

magika released a new set of hair colors and i fell *so* hard in love with this magenta-to-red dip dye that i had to wear it. all the new colors are gorgeous (and these are def my picks of the bunch!) but this red color just called to me. so i’m rockin’ the red for the time being!

i also visited collabor88 last night && basically came back with one of everything. some of my faves include this cardi from tres blah that is *perfect* for layering with (and i’m wearing it here with a new tank top release from blueberry that fits underneath it wonderfully) and this billowy, soft scarf from the plastik. my go to items for fall are always jackets and sweaters i can layer with, and pretty scarves to go on top, and these were soooo gooood for exactly that!

vivienne && i spotted these scarves from tea.s that were way too cute, and since we’re both big fans of sailor moon.. we were pretty much obligated to grab ’em. while vivi has been a fan of the main sailor scout, i’ve always had an affinity for sailor jupiter (and sailor mercury!), and so we both dressed to match our faves~

not any kind of *real* sailor moon cosplay (especially since bibi ‘n’ i have done that before), just some cute looks that pay homage to the scouts. though i gotta tell ya, it was really tempting to scream moonnnn prissmmm pooweeerrrr~~! inside this li’l ice cream shop.. just because.
